Our teachers work all day every day. They teach English then History then Maths and more. And we think each term they work too hard so we made something called the Teacher of the Term Award.

We have interviewed multiple staff members throughout the school this past term to find out who deserves to be crowned. After much thought, we’ve decided on a triumphant winner!

The winner was recommended by Ms. Chloe who said: “She is a legend and she works hard to support all.” She is the Year 2 teacher and is making lessons more exciting and interactive. Her role matters to this school because she helps kids feel safe and happy whilst learning!

So our lucky winner this term is Ms. Ellen!!!

Even though Ms. Ellen is the most amazing teacher, this term there were different teachers that could have been our school’s best teacher of the term and the contenders were: Mr. Bruno, Coach Leo, Ms. Chloe, Ms. Jodie and Ms. Georgia.

If they keep up the good work they will have a chance to gain this title next term.

It was a tough choice between Ms. Ellen and Ms. Chloe but after really thinking about it we came down to our final decision.

We made our decision by asking questions along the lines of: ”What characteristics do you think a teacher should have?” and ”How do you like to keep the classroom under control when kids are working?” .

So that is how we came down to Ms. Ellen.
