Teacher of the Term is BACK and are you ready to hear who has been chosen this term?
We know this is the news that you have all been waiting for ever since we announced that last term’s award was given to Mr. Bruno.
We have chosen this person because they are kind and amazing at managing a whole class of maniacs (that’s us!). They are funny and sympathetic and good at helping people when they are stuck. We think that these are amazing qualities and that is why they deserve to be Teacher of the Term.
Don’t take it from us. Here is what some other people said about this teacher:
Ms. Chloe said: “She goes above and beyond and takes people for who they are.”
Ms. Julia said: “She’s kind, fun, cool and lovely.”
Ms. Amy said: “She values her learners and individuals. She believes in hard work.”
Ms. Stephanie said: “She has passionate teaching. She loves her students dearly. She works hard.”
And Mr. Donovan said: “She loves being a teacher and she puts lots of energy into learning.”
Ms. Lily said: “She’s a wonderful person and has a beautiful soul.”
Ms. Ellie said: “She is fun to be around and cares about everybody.”
Ms. Rosa – her fellow Year 6 teacher – said: “She’s empathetic, inspiring and a fantastic teammate.”
What a long list of lovely comments.
We are thrilled to announce that the new TEACHER OF THE TERM is ………..
MS. LAUREN !!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Mog Chronicle thinks Ms. Lauren is an amazing teacher because she talks openly about her neurodiversity and the fact that she has ADHD which means there are some things she struggles with. But we think this makes her an even better teacher.
We interviewed Ms. Lauren about receiving this incredible award and this is what she said:

What do you think about winning Teacher of the Term?
I am thrilled and shocked. Thank you so much. And thank you to all the lovely people who voted for me.
Why do you think you won Teacher of the Term?
Because I bring an element of fun and quirkiness to lessons and I’m not afraid of making a fool of myself – and I hope I inspire you to do the same.
What do you like about Judith Kerr?
Obviously the awesome kids. They make it the best job in the world.
Did you always want to be a teacher?
No, it’s a vocation that came to me later in life. I think this is what I am meant to be doing. I used to want to be a lawyer and I went to law school.
If you could change one thing in this school to make it better, what would it be?
Chocolate for everyone!!! Remove the sugar ban!!!!
