Teacher Tango

Recently we had a bit of a shock when two teachers had a moment of romance during a Year 6 PE lesson. These two teachers were ……

Coach Leo and Mr. Alfie !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the past few weeks, Year 6 has been doing a dance called the Tango. We were doing this because Coach Leo wanted us to know more about cultural dancing. The Tango is a famous dance in South America.

Coach Leo split us into boys and girls and put us into partners. We all stood in a big circle and after every three Tango moves, we swapped partners. The hardest part was learning how to go into the center of the circle and then leave the circle looking graceful. We then had to perform in front of our teacher, Ms. Lauren.

Coach Leo and Mr. Alfie gave some Year 6 students a demonstration. They danced the Tango together and as they were dancing Coach Leo remarked: “I never realised how long your eyelashes are.” He also said: “Your hands are so soft.” Apparently, Mr. Tom stopped by and said: “How romantic.”

Upon questioning, Mr. Alfie agreed that they have chemistry which completely shocked everyone.

Even though Coach Leo and Mr. Alfie had a lot of fun, we did not agree. We hated partnering up with the boys – and we think they felt the same.
