Today our whole Reception year went to the art gallery. We went to see our art. It was in the back garden and all of our pictures had been turned into really big colourful banners.

A nice lady called Lucy from Dulwich Picture Gallery came to our class a few weeks ago and we made sun pictures with her. We put bits of paper with leaves on in the sun for a little bit. The paper turned different colours in the sun but left white where the leaves and stuff were. We then took the leaves off and then we washed it. The lady took it away and turned it into a giant sun picture made of fabric.

It felt so cool. I wanted to bring it home. 

The Reception class artwork is on display at Dulwich Picture Gallery until mid-August. After that the banners will be given to JKPS to enjoy.
