Do you ever wonder why your parents don’t let you use video games? Some games have loads of violence and have swear words. But don’t worry, in this article we will show you which games are good and which to avoid. Add to that we will talk about how to ask your parents for them.
The best way to ask for video games:
1. At Christmas
2. On Your Birthday
3. Ask nicely
4. Use persuasion
5. Pay with your own money
6. Do all chores
7. Promise to stay kind
Now everyone knows that video games sometimes have chats for talking to other players but don’t use your actual name or any personal information for your username as other players can see it and they might be able to find out more about you without your consent. Also don’t listen to other players. If it relates to the game, maybe, but if they’re telling you to meet you outside somewhere, don’t listen and tell your parents straight away. In some games you can invite friends to your chat so you can only hear them and not other people you don’t know. Some games are better as two player but some you need to play on your own.
TOP 3 VIDEO GAMES (console games)
1. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

It’s a racing game full of shells and stars. You choose who you play as, how to customise your bike, and whenever you get loads of coins you get new stuff to make your bike, car or your own character cooler.
2. Minecraft

It is a game where you use blocks to build homes, gadgets and other cool structures. You can design your own character and play with them in different environments or biomes like swamps, jungles, deserts, forest and more.
3. Nintendo Sports
It has seven different games including badminton, tennis, volleyball. You hold joysticks and move them around to hit the ball which appears on a screen. It’s a good way to keep fit as it keeps you moving and you always have to be on your toes.
