With the holidays on the horizon, there are many things to look forward to, a break from all hustles and bustles of everyday life, with the Year 6’s doing SATS and school, life in London can be hectic. There’s no doubt that you just want to lie back and relax … But where to go?

With so many places to choose from, planning ‘the perfect holiday’ is sure to stress you out. Here are the top tips on where to visit …

DUBAI

Planning to go to Dubai? Why not come and visit the tallest tower in the world? It is commonly known as the Burj Khalifa and is known to have more than 160 floors. With a height of around 828m, it towers high above the busy yet beautiful city. 

PERU 

Machu Picchu is a great place to visit and offers a little break from the city and a brilliant view. It is said to be a very kid-friendly, fun place to go!

CHINA

The Great Wall of China is a brilliant place to go to. Although you may wonder why it’s so interesting – given that we so many walls in our everyday life. Well, you would be surprised. Not only did it take over 2,000 years to build, but it was constructed 2,000 years (2,243) ago. It has a total length of 21,196.18 km. That’s a long way to walk!

EASTER ISLAND

Easter Island is a unique place to go. It is full of strange statues. Did you know that scientists still don’t know the reason why there are statues? Now there are 5,000 people living in the island, although, as it is 3,700 km away from the coast of Chile, it is one of the most remote islands in the world. Surprisingly there are 1,043 statues on this island alone and even more are being found.
