We have lots of school equipment to help us through our day. From whiteboards to whiteboard pens, rulers, rubbers, pens, dienes, books and many more. However, it is hard to have all the school equipment that we would want. In an ideal world we would have a massive football pitch to match the size of the nets. We would have a ginormous climbing frame suitable for older children and a basketball pitch purely for shooting hoops. However, we know that this would cost a fortune and being in London too we would never have enough space.
What we have received this year has been exciting and helpful for both PE and playtimes. These are the tall and mighty basketball hoops and the wide and playful football nets.

Unsurprisingly, children at JKPS have been really appreciative of these fantastic, sporty gifts! The hoops especially have been great for different games such as the first person to get three hoops in, wins.
These looming, fantastic, red hoops have taught us skills such as how to adjust to the height of the hoops, aiming skills and strengthening our arms too! Equally they have taught us how to accept both winning and losing and we learn from others whilst playing the game, observing how skilled players aim and shoot.
Here at the Mog Chronicle we will be coming up with future fundraising ideas for more equipment, not just PE but for our classrooms too.
Stay tuned to find out how you can help the school keep growing and get more amazing equipment to help us learn and most importantly – play together.
